Support the fall exhibit of Pomegranar Virtual Art Gallery while being entertained by the amazing performers in our Pom’s Got Talent show!

Donations from this event will be going towards several categories including production costs, web related costs, and artist fees. Our production costs include editing software, props, set dressing, equipment, photo developing and scanning. Our web related costs can be thought of as renting our digital “venue” which comes with various costs such as hosting, domain, certificates, and plugins. Finally artist fees go towards our incredible team who are working hard and producing incredible work both “onstage” and “offstage”.

Ontario Staycation Tax Credit

What it is and how it works:

 

Travelling just got more rewarding!

In 2022, the Ontario government rolled out the Ontario staycation tax credit which aims to encourage Ontario residents to explore the beautiful province.

Ontario residents can claim 20% of their accommodation expenses up to $1000 per person; or $2000 per couple or family, so make sure to keep those receipts!

How does it work the Ontario Staycation Tax Credit?

 

When you book your accommodation stay in Ontario, you can:

  • Claim eligible expenses up to $1,000 to get back up to $200 as an individual
  • Or claim expenses up to $2,000 if you have a spouse, common-law partner or eligible children to get $400 as a family.

Please note you are eligible to claim the credit if you are an Ontario resident on December 31, 2022. Therefore, you can claim for the Ontario tax credit when you file your taxes for 2022.
